And then there are days where I look at myself in the mirror and simply have to say; You big freak!

And what else -after noting the imperfections?
Just saying hello to oldies. Been a while.
After noting comes accepting and then loving :)
Freak? Nay……merely eccentric.
Eccentric, yes – but a bit of a freak as well and I have accepted and embraced that :)
Eccentricity with a splash of freaky makes for an exceptional friend full of passion and life!
Welcome to how it feels to be not lost just weird.
I kinda like it :D
And it fits you so wonderfully.
Almost like a superheroine costume, complete with cape.
Never without the cape!
Love your weirdiosity and uniquitude.:-
I see. And after?
Just enjoying the accepting and loving for ever and ever :)
Have a look at The Imperfect Project (www.imperfectproject.co.za). For days just like these.
I’ll make sure to take a look – thanks :)
Great. I did it. It was terrifying and empowering.
I just checked it out – and WOW!!
I have so much respect and support for projects like this. My own imperfection is more on a mental and emotional level, though ;) When I call myself a freak, I do so with both love and acceptance of who I am and with no desire to put down or change myself :)
Thank you for reaching out and commenting <3
It was a pleasure. It was more about the process than the outcome. A stripping away of all armour.
I can relate to that :)
The pictures are beautiful and I imagine the process to be cathartic – maybe one day I’ll have the guts to do something like that myself.
It was worth it. I am sure you could.
