I guess this blog has turned out to be about almost everything that pops up in this process of life. It’s an experimental playground of expression and an exploration of all aspects of my existence. I don’t need to wallow in struggle when it occurs but at the same time, I do find it fascinating to dive into the darker places of life (and myself) and try them on for size.
During the one year since I started blogging, so much has happened that it could easily fill out several years. I definitely feel the progress that I need my life to have and this blog is an important part of that. If I were to choose a single word to best describe how I feel about everything, it would be Gratitude.
Thank you so much for reading and being a part of something extremely valuable. And feel free, even strongly encouraged, to give critique, comment, ask questions or share your opinion in any other way – please :)

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves (and each other) that we’re writing to express what we’re thinking and feeling. If we were supposed to win a Pulitzer, we’d be far too boring and much less interesting, not to mention exceedingly dull. Friends don’t let friends get too caught up in seriousity!
