First time I heard this track, it didn’t really move me. Then I heard it again, or more accurately, then I danced to it. I’m not sure where they came from, or where they’d been resting before, but gigantuous echoing emotions rose to the surface and expressed themselves through my body in a completely new way – and it just blew my mind. Talk about peak experience! Since then my dancing has transformed, stretched itself, and in the process, stretching me. Wow. Just wow.
Too busy, and also too much in-process these days to actually form original sentences, but I do constantly stumble upon quotes that perfectly describe this beautiful process of life, in me and around me. Like this one..
“If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.”
~ Lao Tzu
Just thought I’d share some astrology insight with you, or more accurately, let Kaypacha share it. I simply love this guy and his forecasts! Not only do I enjoy the more technical side to it, but I love his interpretations and presentation style, the way he makes it all come to life. Although this is great entertainment, it’s also so much more, and if you should feel the need to explore your current situation a little more thoroughly, or maybe just need a new perspective, I strongly encourage you to watch this forecast.
So yes, it’s still all about change, about our values, about letting go and having faith – and about breaking free from desires and past programs. Let’s do it.
Namaste – Aloha – So Much Love ♥
he is no longer you
and you are no longer just one
but an expanding reflection
of what was once perceived
to be just him
“Yesterday we obeyed kings and bent our necks before emperors.
But today we kneel only to truth, follow only beauty, and obey only love.”
~ Khalil Gibran
i wasn’t expected to
so i did
and by doing so
i ended up in a place
where what i did
was just the thing
i was expected to
Still in the spirit of change – and becoming aware of what you need to change in your life in order to be happy – I stumbled across this quote from Deepak Chopra.
I think one of your biggest obstacles when it comes to growing and changing is the nasty power of habits. Okay, there are a few good habits as well. Like washing your hands when you’ve been to the bathroom, that’s a good one. Or looking both ways before crossing the street, that’s another very valuable one. But habits in the sense of just blindly going through your day on autopilot – yuck!
“Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way,
ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future.”
Breaking a habit might not be the easiest thing to do but when you succeed or even just realize the potential affect it could have on your life, it’s so worth it.
(this is where I would do a little twirl while singing something about sweet freedom and rainbows.. but that would totally ruin the seriousness of this post.)
